Max Aliento Fabric
Water repellent on a molecular level
Hydrophilic isn’t a term you hear often with waterproofing, because it’s the opposite of hydrophobic (repelling water). But our manufacturing partner uses it ingeniously with a new kind of membrane whose chemical structure attracts water vapor (sweat) while also physically blocking liquid water entirely.
All this science just means that Stretch Puffy has great breathability while keeping you dry. And the result of this new membrane is a waterproofing and breathability rating of 20K.
